Website optimization, Social media, Pay per click ads, Facebook ads, video ads,
Instagram ads anything that take place under the online or digital media is
digital marketing.
TRADITIONAL MARKETING
Traditional marketing are like TV ads, News papers, bill boards, radio or magazines anything not from the digital world. But there are some significant disadvantages of traditional marketing that they cannot figure out the reach of their ads to their customers.
COMPARISON OF BOTH THE MARKETING
Whereas, Digital marketing has many advantages in it, like reaching out direct customers, cost effective then running say, an ad in the New York times or heaven forbid, a super bowl commercial. These are appeal to mass markets and try to reach everyone. Probably not your goal rather what you want to do is laser focused and selective with your marketing and reach again. All the digital channels that we have now have a large number of audiences size, you can reach anybody online. Audience target not only you are able to reach billions of people, if not to reach all of them because all of them will not be a perfect fit for your business. Rather you can be laser focused and selective on only the most ideal and perfect people that you want to target.
Digital marketing also allows you to get your feedback immediately that is the greatest benefit we get. For instance, you are writing a magazine you will have to think about on the copy and the creative, what your going to write about, send to the magazine, then it will publish and distributed Again, it takes many months to judge whether this has been worked or not?
But, Digital marketing on other hands you can write a blog and
publish in a minute, they are so instant making like immediate feedback, immediate
corrections and immediate results. Also they are very easy to track and measure
the data of the business or any other activities.
